Julian of Norwich: Essential Insights and Particular Graces

By MASC inUncategorized

Dr Edward Clemmer will be delivering a presentation on Julian of Norwich’s relevance to Spiritual Companionship and to the Christology and spiritual anthropology of the Christian experience of God. In general, Julian of Norwich’s spirituality is intended for every “evencristen,” but also is particular for each soul’s pilgrimage to God.  Julian has described her experience of God’s mercy and grace for the soul inhabited by the Trinity, as God also reveals his personal love for us in Christ’s redemption and healing. Dr. Clemmer engages Julian’s Christology and spiritual anthropology from his personal experience, and within his most recent publication, “Julian of Norwich in Her Phenomenology: Her Spiritual Texts and Their Historical Contexts” (Oxford: Peter Lang, 2023).
