Seminar 5: Hope and the Future – Christian Hope Series

Birkirkara, Malta – The Malta Association for Spirituality and Culture (MASC) and the Carmelite Institute Malta are delighted to invite all to attend the fifth seminar in the ongoing Christian Hope Series, titled “Hope and the Future.”

This thought-provoking session, which will take place on Saturday, 22 February 2025, aims to reflect on the eschatological aspect of Christian hope and its profound implications for the future. The seminar will be led by Rev. Prof. Martin Micallef,, who will guide participants through a rich exploration of Christian hope, offering insights into its future-facing dimension from the perspective of the Book of Revelation.

The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the CST Sala Madonna tal-Karmnu in Birkirkara, located adjacent to the St. Therese of Lisieux Shrine and Friary. The hall is easily accessible from the street, with convenient parking available in the square in front of the church.

will shar insight on how the virtue of hope is lived in our contemporary 
lives.

The third seminar in our Christian Hope Series, Hope in the New Testament is scheduled for December 14, 2024, providing an opportunity to explore
themes of hope from a Christian perspective. This session, will be led by Rev. Prof. Charló Camilleri, O.Carm. who will
share insights into how the ancient texts of the New Testament continue to inspire hope in our contemporary lives.

– Date: Saturday, December 14, 2024
– Time: 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Coffee breaks included.
– Location: MSSP Oratory, Triq San Ġiljan,B’Kara.

The MSSp Oratory is easily accessible from the street, and parking is
available in the parking space adjacent to the church and centre for your convenience.

The Malta Association for the Study of Spirituality and Spiritual Companionship (MASC) is hosting a workshop titled Models of Supervision, designed for individuals engaged in the ministry of spiritual companionship. This event will take place on January 10, 2025, at the Oratorju MSSP in Birkirkara, starting at 7:00 PM. Accordingly, the date for the first seminar, titled “Introduction to
Christian Hope” will be held on 26 October 2024 and will be conducted by
Dr Dorianne Buttigieg.
